1331 Maryland Kicked Off The White House Correspondents' Dinner In Our Jefferson Lounge

As any Washington, DC resident knows, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is basically the District’s Super Bowl. So, here at 1331 Maryland, we joined in on the excitement – as well as the glamour and unmatchable cuisine – of the iconic evening with our own kickoff dinner in our elegant Jefferson Lounge.

This indoor lounge is at the heart of our world-class building, and it includes a living room, dining room, seating area, demonstration catering kitchen and unmatchable views. We co-hosted this chic event with none other than Modern Luxury Washington DC, our city’s go-to magazine for luxury living with sectors including dining, real estate and style.

Nearly three dozen VIP guests, correspondents and city A-listers all flocked to 1331 Maryland to enjoy fare prepared by Michelin star chef Aaron Silverman, who is at the helm of top Washington DC restaurants Rose’s Luxury, Pineapple and Pearls and Little Pearl. All the meanwhile, they got to relish stunning 1331 Maryland panoramic views that residents here enjoy every day – including a front-row seat to the Jefferson Monument and the city beyond during twilight.

Of course, we didn’t forget our own VIPs – our 1331 Maryland residents! All residents were invited to place orders from Rose’s Luxury, which they could enjoy from the comfort of their cozy 1331 Maryland apartments. They could also indulge in burgers from the New American restaurants, which are known for putting their own innovative spins on classic cuisine.

Here at 1331 Maryland, we offer modern, upscale living every day – whether it’s during one of our special events or while accommodating our residents in their daily lives. Contact us today to learn more about how Washington DC’s premier residence can pamper you.
